Topics that help the rising generation discover literature and experience the world around them. Worlds Awaiting is a weekly program for grownups who care about children hosted by children's literature expert, Rachel Wadham, Education and Juvenile Literature Librarian at the BYU Library. Guests include authors, experts, teachers, and parents.

Rachel Wadham
Rachel Wadham is the Education and Juvenile Collections Librarian at Brigham Young University. Rachel holds a master’s degree in library science from the University of North Texas and a master’s in education from Pennsylvania State University. She is also an instructor of children’s and adolescent literature at the university, a professional literary critic, and a published author. Some of her published works include, "This Is My Life: A Guide to Realistic Fiction for Teens" and "Integrating Young Adult Literature though the Common Core State Standards." Additionally, Rachel is a musician who plays eight different instruments and an artist who creates with fiber, fabric, and yarn. Rachel Wadham is the host of Worlds Awaiting on BYUradio.
