Julie Rose has been a radio journalist for more than 20 years, reporting for NPR local stations in Salt Lake City and Charlotte, North Carolina, as well as network shows including “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered.” She hosted BYUradio’s daily live interview show “Top of Mind” from 2015-2022, when she transitioned the show to a weekly podcast. She launched “Uncomfy” for BYUradio in 2024. Both shows aimed to help people become better citizens, kinder neighbors and more effective advocates. Julie's latest hobby is "Julie's Provo Notes," where she posts easy-to-understand previews and recaps of Provo City government meetings so that she and her neighbors can be more informed and engaged in decisions shaping their community.
