Bears Ears is Early Test of Trump's Approach to Public Lands

We have some indication now in a preliminary recommendation from Trump’s Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke to shrink, but not eliminate, the Bears Ears National Monument in Southeastern Utah.  Bears Ears is one of 27 national monuments designated by previous presidents and currently under review by the Trump administration.
