Rapid Apple DeclineTop of Mind with Julie Rose • Season 1, Episode 1567, Segment 3
Apr 1, 2021 • 13m
Because America is a major apple producer globally, a mysterious disease killing young apple trees is causing a lot of consternation. It’s called “Rapid Apple Decline” because the only thing we know for sure is that when it hits the tree, it kills it quickly. Marc Fuchs–a professor of plant virology at Cornell University–is trying to get to the core of the problem.
