Important conversations and encouraging words to help you make every day a great one. Stylists (00:00) Lisa and Michelle Lindsay discuss what to do when a stylist doesn’t do exactly what you want them to, and a few reasons why that might be the case. Health and Medicine (15:32) Dr. Weston joins us to talk about how we can prepare for the upcoming viral respiratory season and where are the best places to get health information from. Life of Art (50:41) We are excited to have Howard Lyon join us on the show today. For over 20 years, Mr. Lyon worked as an art director, concept artist, and freelance illustrator in the video game industry. His work consists of fantasy and science fiction pieces and can be found in Dungeons and Dragon’s books, World of Warcraft cards, Magic the Gathering and Star Wars. He was also a panelist at Salt Lake’s Comic Con in 2017. More recently Mr. Lyon has been creating spiritual and religious pieces. His painting “From Fear to Faith” has won several awards including a Merit Award in the 26th Annual Spiritual and Religious Art of Utah Exhibition. You can visit his website here. Remembering Names (1:25:57) There are few things more embarrassing than messing up the name of your new boss, friend, coworker, or kid’s teacher when you are trying to make a good impression. There are thousands of first names in the U.S. alone and millions worldwide, so it’s understandable how hard it is to remember more than your own. Wendy Patrick, J.D., Ph.D., is here to share with us thoughts on the significance and benefits of remembering names. She is a trial attorney, business ethics professor, and author of the book Red Flags: Frenemies, Underminers, and Ruthless People. You can visit her website here.
