Underwater Vacuum Robots

The annual Lionfish Derby is happening in the Florida Keys. It’s all organized by an environmental nonprofit called REEF to raise awareness of the problem lionfish pose to reef ecosystems. An engineering collaboration is designing a lionfish-hunting robot that might win the Lionfish Derby one day. Erika Angle is the co-founder of Robots in Service of the Environment.
