Stories Behind the Stars

Everyone loves a story about a hero. There are entire movie franchises dedicated to fictitious heroes that inspire us to be courageous and do the right thing. But what about the actual heroes who gave up everything for our country? Who died for us to live in freedom? Do you know their stories like you do for Captain American or Batman? Don Milne founded the nonprofit organization The Stories Behind the Stars to address this very concern. Over 400,000 Americans lost their lives in WW II, and today volunteers help find their stories and share them with us. Today we are joined by Don to talk about his organization, what they do, and how you can get involved.
