Clone Ferret

A project at the US Fish and Wildlife Service successfully cloned a black-footed ferret using DNA from the frozen body of an animal that died 30 years ago. While black-footed ferrets aren’t yet extinct, they’re headed in that direction. Pete Gober is coordinator of the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s Black-footed Ferret Recovery Program.
