College and Eating Disorders

Eating disorders are common on college campuses. And even though this mental illness can be extremely debilitating for a college student, most don’t get any help. Psychiatrist Ellen Fitzimmons-Craft, therefore, headed up a research team to improve treatment access for suffering students, and she and her colleagues at St. Louis’s Washington University ended up inventing an app. (Originally aired November 11th, 2020)
