The Biden Administration had aimed to start giving booster shots this week to most Americans, but the FDA and CDC didn’t get completely on board with that. Instead, the FDA said this week that it recommends booster shots for people over 65 who got the Pfizer vaccine six months ago. Boosters are also encouraged for Pfizer recipients who are at high risk for COVID-19 or work in high-risk jobs like health care. And just this week, Johnson and Johnson just released data that suggest people could benefit from a second dose of its vaccine. What about people who got the Moderna shot?
