The world has a waste problem, and often the burden to solve it falls on consumers to recycle and reuse. But lots of packaging and other stuff just isn't reusable and heads to the landfill. Kate O’Neill, professor of environmental science and global waste policy at the University of California-Berkeley, discusses. (Segment produced by James Hoopes)
