It’s hard enough to get our kids to eat their veggies when they are offered. It’s nearly impossible when they are offered alongside milkshakes and treats and all the other things grandparents like to spoil them with. There’s nothing wrong with grandparents giving gifts and candy every-so-often, but it can be a frustrating problem if they constantly do it AND are constantly around. Dina Rose, Ph.D. is speaking with us today about creating boundaries with grandparents to help keep your kids healthy. Dina Rose is a sociologist and author of It’s Not About the Broccoli: Three Habits to Teach Your Kids for a Lifetime of Healthy Eating. She writes a blog called “It’s Not About Nutrition” and contributes to Psychology Today. You can follow her twitter here.
