They’ll spend time in an orphanage somewhere like Cambodia or Malawi painting walls or doing repairs. They’ll play with the children and post photos online filled with hugs and smiles. And the fundraising pleas will come, too. There are, after all, more than 150 million orphans worldwide who need our help.  But what if all of these orphanage efforts and donations are misguided? What if they’re actually doing more harm than good?
