Guest: Brad Cardinal, professor of exercise and sport science in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences at Oregon State University Primary care doctors routinely ask patients about their fitness routine, they routinely urge patients to lose weight or get more aerobic exercise, and yet, less than half of physicians trained in the U.S. get any formal education in medical school about fitness and physical activity.
