And it’s a tad ironic, considering how avidly President Trump watches and reads news reports – and then immediately responds on Twitter. But in the last week, the President’s ire took a turn that has civil liberties advocates concerned. After an NBC news report particularly bothered him, President Trump tweeted: “Network news has become so partisan, distorted and fake that licenses must be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked. Not fair to public!”
