Doulas have become quite common in childbirth. They’re trained helpers or companions who support the mother through the process. Doulas are now becoming more common in the other big life passage we all go through—death. Why might a person need a death doula? Janie Rakow is co-founder of the International End of Life Doula Association, or INELDA, which trains doulas and offers a directory for people looking to hire one. (Segment produced by Abby Haralson)
