Some of the people who get COVID-19 experience shortness of breath for a long time after they recover. A group of these so-called “COVID long haulers” has found some relief through a program sponsored by the English National Opera. They are taught how to breathe more like an opera singer, and they also learn to sing a bit. Jenny Mollica is the director of the expanding English National Opera COVID-19 program.
