Raising our children to become resilient hard workers is an important goal, especially in a world where entitlement is increasing rapidly. However, sometimes too much of a push to create strong and responsible kids can lead to a negative outcome we don’t intend for. Those living with an omnipotent personality are definitely hard workers, but to the point where they struggle with too high of standards for themselves, can become workaholics, and even lose the ability to focus on the joys in life. So how, as parents, can we strike the right balance between raising resilient children and the so-called “super strong” people?
