The latest class of inductees into the US Military Intelligence Corps Hall of Fame includes Harriet Tubman, who famously led enslaved people to freedom on the Underground Railroad. But she was also a spy for the Union Army during the Civil War and even led an armed raid on a South Carolina plantation to free hundreds of men, women, and children from slavery. Kellie Carter Jackson is a professor of humanities and Africana studies at Wellesley College. (Originally aired Nov 7, 2019).
