The Strong Ones

In 1995, 45 civilian women volunteered to participate in a women’s strength Army study to determine if women could tackle certain heavy-weight military jobs. After seven months of intensive training, researchers were impressed by the remarkable endurance and improvement shown by this rag-tag group of heroes.
