It would be surprising if you haven’t seen the picture of Bernie Sanders at the presidential inauguration wearing thick, handmade mittens. The internet went bananas over it. There are now thousands of memes with the photo, and some people have even gotten tattoos of it. Senator Sanders himself made a sweatshirt with the picture on it, and it almost immediately sold out –all of the proceeds went to the Make A Wish foundation.
