What Will We Do with the Baby-o: A Mindful Bedtime Story for Kids

What Will We Do with the Baby-o: A Mindful Bedtime Story for Kids

Wink: Stories for Better Bedtimes • Season 4, Episode 9
May 18, 2026 • 12m

Everyone in the family is exhausted except for the baby, who refuses to sleep and is passed from her little brother to her sister, then to Mommy and finally to Daddy as each sings a playful song about what to do with her. No matter who holds her, the baby wiggles, giggles, and insists she wants to play. In the end, Daddy climbs into the crib and falls asleep, and the baby finally settles down beside him and drifts off to sleep too. Hey parents, here are 4 ways to build attachment as you listen to the story together: 1) Show your child making your body look like a tree. 2) Show your child what you body would look like as a cooked noodle. 3) Lead the movement calmly to help your child relax. 4) Model the baby breath for your child.
