Andrea Boccelli is one of the world’s most famous tenors, and he's also blind. While you wouldn’t know it to hear him, visual impairment is a disadvantage in classical singing. Vocal coach Cheri Montgomery has developed a tool to help blind singers more quickly learn the quirks of pronunciation and diction that come with singing opera and other classical music. Montgomery is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Vanderbilt University. (Segment produced by Kirsten Titus)
