Lautenwerck: The Long-Lost Baroque Instrument

Most of us are familiar with instruments like the piano and the organ. Some of us might even know about harpsichords. But, likely, not many of us have heard of a lautenwerck. That’s because no lautenwercks—also called a lute-harpsichord—survived the 19th century.
