Simon and Schuster was the first major US publisher to launch an imprint dedicated to Muslim characters. Hena Khan’s book about a middle-school Pakistani-American girl named Amina was the first book published by the imprint. A sequel has now been published called "Amina's Song," in which Khan takes her American-born main character on her first trip to Pakistan.
