Over the last year, many of us have sought to better educate ourselves on the racial inequities within our country and root out personal internal biases. *feel free to comment on what you’ve learned this year* With the many conversations we’ve had over the last year, we tend to focus on adults. But today, we are eager to speak with acclaimed author Daria Peoples-Riley on her new book "America My Love, America My Heart" which challenges us to consider our beliefs and attitudes towards children of color. Daria herself comes from a mixed-race family, and invites readers to confront discrimination and honor the rich identities of America’s children of color.
