Hundreds of people in New Zealand worked together last month to help 40 beached whales get back to open water. Whales periodically get stranded on beaches around the world. But marine scientists aren’t sure why this happens. Scott Baker is a marine biologist and whale conservation scientist at Oregon State University. (Originally aired Sep 30, 2020).
