Placemaking Through the Arts

Many storytellers have their hands in a lot of baskets: they are educators, teaching artists, puppeteers, musicians, mothers, fathers, mimes, naturalists, and so on and so forth. Many storytellers, in their own unique way, also participates in “placemaking”: the philosophy and practice of capitalizing on a local community’s assets, inspiration, and potential with the intention of creating public spaces to promote, health, well-being, and happiness.
