Best Album Notes

Did you know there’s a Grammy award for the Best Album Notes? That’s the writing the comes along with an album–could be an essay or some kind of introduction to the collection of songs–and often it’s not written by a member of the band. This year’s Best Album Notes Grammy went to music critic Bob Mehr for his notes on a special box set of music by The Replacements.
