Amazing Squirrels

Have you ever seen a squirrel fall? Doubtful. Squirrels have a remarkable ability to judge distances, leap, and even do parkour. They can land on small ledges and perform acrobatics by catching thin bars with their hands. Nathaniel Hunt, a professor of biomechanics at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, is studying how they do it so that robots and humans can copy them. (Segment produced by Martha Harris)
