The Clone Army of Bees

Thirty years ago, a South African honeybee somehow made perfect clones of herself that made perfect clones of themselves on and on hundreds of millions of times. That one honeybee created her own clone army that is now responsible for collapsing thousands of bee colonies in South Africa every year. Behavioral geneticist and University of Sydney professor Ben Oldroyd led the research team that figured out the cloning secret of the South African Cape honeybee.
