People who’ve taken one of those DNA ancestry tests are a lot more likely to start identifying themselves as multiracial on surveys. This poses a conundrum for researchers who study race and discrimination. Professor of sociology at Stanford University Aliya Saperstein says it also raises some interesting questions about how we define race.
