As parents, we have the perfect opportunities to teach our children how to be leaders, but we may not know where to start. Leaders need to know how to communicate effectively, be organized, listen, problem-solve, and work well with others, which is a hefty load for parents to teach. It can be difficult to tell when to step back and let our children problem-solve and when to step in, and we may not recognize the chances we have to model leadership skills to our kids. So, today we have Rebecca Escott from Penn State’s Better Kid Care to teach us how to teach our children to be leaders. Rebecca has written more than twenty-five professional development courses for Better Kid Care, including courses aboutpositive adult-child interactions.
