We all want to be liked and feel accepted by those around us. But what are we giving up in pursuit of being liked? Getting likes on social media feels great in the moment, however psychology research suggests an over-investment in these likes and comments may be problematic for not only our teens mental health, but their overall development as well. Could a new social media policy help with the problem? Here to discuss this is Dr. Sophia Choukas-Bradley, psychology professor and director of the Teen and Young Adult Lab at the University of Delaware.
