This September marks the 75thanniversary of the end of World War II. In our day to day lives, it can be easy to forget the sacrifices made by men and women before us so we can enjoy the lives we have today. So, we want to take a moment to commemorate and celebrate the end of that tragic war as well as the amazing people who selflessly gave their lives to protect freedom across the world... specifically the incredible war nurses who contended with a flood of wounded soldiers. Ed Ruggero is the author of Blame the Dead –a book based on World War II, backed by his long-term research in World War II. With his extensive and intimate knowledge of the war, he joins us to discuss a few of the heroes of the war.
