The Science Behind Star Wars

She runs a blog called “The Baking Dietician” where she shares healthy recipes, workouts, and other health and fitness tips.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. — experiences mental illness in a given year. Approximately 1 in 5 youth aged 13–18 experiences a severe mental disorder at some point during their life. For children aged 8–15, the estimate is 13%. Jennie Dopp, the Development Coordinator for the Utah Parent Center, joins us to talk about ADHD, ADD, and Dyslexia.

It’s something we all talk about and want to get serious about, but how often do we get discouraged about where we are on our own personal fitness journeys? Sara Hiatt is a mom of 9 who has taken fitness by the reins in the last three years and conquered some of her goals. Her message as a health and nutrition coach encompasses the idea that we should love ourselves now and appreciate what we can already do. It's easy to get discouraged about our goals -- whatever they may be. She joins us today to talk about the importance of loving yourself first, working on improving next, and her own fitness journey.
