We all know and love Prince’s music, but in the years leading up to his death, Prince was interested in leavin ghis mark on the world in a different way—through the written word. Prince wanted to write a book, and, after an intense vetting process he found the man he wanted to help him, Dan Piepenbring, who was chosen by Prince to be his co-writer. Nearly 4 years after Prince’s death, Dan joins us to talk about his experience working with Prince and how the final book, The Beautiful Ones, came to be is editor and author Dan Piepenbring.
