Best of Season 2: Storyteller Donna Washington, A Boy Called Bat, OTR Life of Riley

As we wrap up season 2 of The Apple Seed we look back at some of our favorite stories from the season: (2:19) Storyteller Donna Washington shares a tale about a new husband who makes a silly bet with his bride in "Bastianello!" It was recorded live in the Apple Seed Studio. (20:40) The book 'A Boy Called Bat' is a tender story about a boy with autism, and we'll hear from both author Elana K. Arnold and from a family that made a surprising discovery when they read the book together. (34:09) The OTR (old-time radio) show 'The Life of Riley' was a smash hit, running on the radio for 7 years and spinning off a feature film and two different TV shows. We'll bring you highlights from an episode where Riley gets a job collecting rent from his neighbors, and it ends up turning his neighborhood upside down.
