SLC NOVA: Jason Hardink and Kathryn EberleHighway 89 • Season 5, Episode 16
Apr 15, 2015 • 40m
The NOVA Chamber Music Series has performed in local halls for nearly 40 years and is a much-beloved staple of the Salt Lake City classical music scene. Tonight in-studio we have two artists from the Gallery Series.
Kathryn Eberle is the Associate Concertmaster for the Utah Symphony. A Nashville native with a Master's Degree from the Julliard School of Music, she started out with her first violin at the age of 3, a violin made from a margarine box, a ruler, and dental floss!
Jason Hardink is the Artistic Director of the NOVA Chamber Music Series and Principal Keyboardist of the Utah Symphony. He's one of our most frequent performers and a fan of running ultra-marathons.
These two talented performers share with us an all-Beethoven repertoire as part of the NOVA Gallery series.
Host: Steven Kapp Perry
Repertoire: BEETHOVEN Sonata for Violin and Piano in G Major, opus 96; Sonata for Violin and Piano in G Major, opus 96; Sonata for Violin and Piano, opus 47 "Kreutzer" - 1st mvt
