Dr. Megan Squire, a professor of computing science at Elon University in North Carolina. Since 2009, U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have been able to search electronic devices carried by citizens and non-citizens are they enter the country.  It has been suggested that this vetting should also include harvesting social media password.  This violates the first rule of online security: Don’t share your passwords.  This has caused major problems for private citizens and government employees alike.
