There are ancient Greek stories in everything from the movies we see, to the lessons we learn in elementary school, to the constellations in the heavens. In this hour, enjoy ancient Greek stories, and stories inspired by them. The hour begins with a Radio Family Journal entry that has Sam watching "Clash of the Titans" on VHS at his Greek grandfather's house. From there, it's on to references to Archimedes of Syracuse in a story called "Braswell and Archimedes of Syracuse" by Andy Offutt Irwin, references to The Odyssey in Kevin Kling's "Softball," and even a Jack tale by Ed Stivender, with its roots in fables by Aesop. All this, and a conversation with the cast of a production of Sophocles' Antigone too!
