Universal Health Coverage (16:42) Dr. Timothy Callaghan is an Assistant Professor in the Texas A&M School of Public Health in the Department of Health Policy and Management. His research focuses on the linkages between policy, politics, and public attitudes with an emphasis on the US health care system and the Affordable Care Act. A Republican controlled House recently voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act colloquially known as Obamacare.  Although the ACA was a step closer to the US having a universal coverage system, the United States tops as a country who spends the most on healthcare with the worse health outcomes.  Why is this?  Why does the US not have Universal Healthcare? One of the set backs of winter is icy roads and foggy windshields, which can cause safety hazards for drivers. But what if laughter is just the cure? Jason Micheli discuss his experience battling the disease and give us a little insight into what’s so funny.
