This generation is sometimes thought of as obsessed with electronics, convinced they are "special" and full of "entitlement and narcissism." Exoplanets and the Research (1:51:44) Dr. Darrin Raggozine is an assistant professor at Brigham Young University. Before that, he was an assistant professor at the Florida Institute of Technology. He has been the Science Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on multiple NASA grants. Principal Investigator of multiple Hubble Space Telescope proposals/grants. His research has been done in the areas of Planetary Science, Astrophysics, Exoplanets, and Astrostatistics.  Just when we thought we knew all there was to know about space, Astronomers found at least seven Earth-sized planets orbiting the same star 40 light-years away. The findings were also announced at a news conference at NASA Headquarters in Washington. So, what does this mean and what things should we know and understand about these “exoplanets?” Darrin Ragozzine helps us all understand this new discovery a little bit better.
