With the passing of Justice Scalia and the now vacant seat in the supreme court, much of the political discussion has turned to the future of the supreme court, the nomination process, and the current standoff between the President and the Senate, lead by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. This proves to be a crucial time for the senate and supreme court as the polarization is higher than any other time. Dr. Segal shares his thoughts and research.
