Remembering the Holocaust

Two days from now will mark one of the most solemn holidays in the world, but it’s also a very important one. January 27th is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It’s a day dedicated to honoring the innocent lives lost during the Holocaust. Yet despite the darkness surrounding this day, it’s also a reminder to us all of the value of life and the importance of protecting human rights across the globe. Here with us today is Ruth Bergman, the director of education at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills Michigan, to teach us more about this day and why we commemorate one of the darkest times in history.
