Winter can be hard on our bodies. As we get older, we may feel a little sorer after skiing and snowboarding than we did growing up. Even shoveling snow can be hard on our backs. And we’ve all slipped once or twice on the ice covering the sidewalks in our neighborhood. But nobody wants to miss out on the fun that winter has to offer! So how do we avoid the common wintertime injuries? And if we get them, what’s the best way to heal? Here to answer these questions is Dr. Heather Moore, a physical therapist and member of the US Olympic Committee sports medicine team.
