Mustaches and Med School

Guest: Eleni Linos, MD, Professor at the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine  If your dream job is to lead a department in one of America’s top 50 medical schools, put down your razor and grow a mustache. And if you’re a woman, well, good luck with that.  Mustachioed individuals significantly outnumber women as leaders of medical departments across the country. We’re guessing it has less to do with the mustache and more to do with medicine being historically-dominated by men.
