The Electoral College could still stop Trump, even if he wins the popular vote (16:50) Professor Derek Muller is an Associate Professor of Law at Pepperdine School of Law. His research and writing focuses on election law, particularly federalism and the role of states in the administration of elections. As we head closer to the Republican Convention, the reality of Donald Trump gaining the GOP’s presidential nomination solidifies. We’ve talked on the show before about the possibility of a brokered convention and attempts from other third-party candidates, but what about after November? Muller proposes a creative solution to the, Never Trump movement. His solution? The Electoral College.
