Women's History Month

Women play many roles in this life. Mothers, wives, sisters, teachers, doctors, scientists, authors and more. They’ve all had a vital role in shaping our society, and some have even altered the course of history. However, many of these women are often forgotten or left out of discussions about the past. Which is why this month is a special one as we honor those women often left out of our history. To help us better understand the origins and importance of Women’s History Month we have with us Patricia Pierce, a member of the National Women's History Alliance Board of Directors.
