Aquatic RobotTop of Mind with Julie Rose • Season 1, Episode 1521, Segment 2
Jan 27, 2021 • 16m
Imagine a robot that doesn't have electronic equipment and complicated hardware to weigh it down. It’s just a nimble little thing shaped like a flat letter X that can flex on its four legs to walk as fast as a human, pick up stuff and then move it around on command. Northwestern University materials science engineer Samuel Stupp has created such a robot.
